I feel like every single year I buy a new swimsuit, wear it nonstop, and then put it back in my drawer. I ignore it for three years, only to rediscover it one day and think, wow, this is so cute! Why don’t I wear it! And then I give it a new life by wearing it non-stop again. Rinse and repeat.
Men’s swim shorts are one of those weird territories in fashion where a lot of retailers have decided to go for loud patterns and colors for seemingly no reason. I love it, but there’ve been times I’ve looked back on beach trips and every photo has me wearing the same pair of swim shorts that are inexplicably covered in neon blue bananas and I’m like, huh, I don’t think I should’ve worn these every day.
