Green Tea Protein Smoothie
Wow hi hello is everyone having a good 2018 so far? We've managed to make it all the way to almost February and so we're really happy about that.
Anyway after last week when we ate all of the pizza in NYC, a lot of people sent us messages like "are u feeling ok" and "does your chest hurt" and "how r u so fit" and "are you brothers or just friends." We'll ignore that last one. So, first we literally are not fit humans and there were definitely points during that pizza situation wherein we did not feel ok. Mystery solved.
But tbh no obviously we don't normally deep throat thirty slices of pizza in a single week, and instead typically try and stick to a *eat very healthy until wine at 7 p.m.* lifestyle. Truly the preferred lifestyle of the American homosexual. Part of that lifestyle involves the occasional green tea protein smoothie because they are hella freaking good and protein filled and also green (there's also some clean energy in there and a bunch of health benefits but that's boring).

Green Tea Protein Smoothie
makes 1
- 2/3 cup non-fat unsweetened plain Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop (20 g) vanilla protein powder (we use EAS pure whey protein powder)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup ice
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder or other green tea powder (we use Aiya Matcha)
- 2-4 teaspoons stevia, to taste (we use Truvia brand)
Blend all them ingredients up there together in a blender (we use a NutriBullet) and serve! Great for a breakfast or post-workout snack.
