About the Brand

Probably This is a home lifestyle media company operating across both digital and traditional media, with a primary focus on social media. The Probably This brand aims to educate and entertain its audience in the home design and decor, DIY, and entertaining verticals through both short form and long form content, while centering approachability and relatability. The need: We’ve been running Probably This ourselves for the past seven years, and we feel we’ve reached a point where continued growth and management of daily operations requires a third collaborator. Our goal is to bring on an executive assistant who will help streamline the work, reduce wasted time, reinvigorate all branches of the brand including those with untapped potential (such as the newsletter, affiliate marketing, and online shop), and bring a new perspective to the brand that will help it both grow and stay relevant.

Job Responsibilities

➔ STRATEGIC

  • Consult on company structure, strengths, weaknesses; provide diagnostics and solutions

  • Contribute to content concepting and planning

  • Plan on-going purchase initiatives for Housewarming and Probably This Collection items

  • Chart growth strategies and timelines

➔ CREATIVE

  • Assistance with capturing images and video during in-person hours (no photography / video skills required)

  • Company client community development (creation and mailing of holiday cards, company announcements, etc)

  • Stay up to date on current happenings in the home lifestyle space on all social platforms (instagram, TikTok, Pinterest are priority).

  • In-person and online shopping for home decor, kitchen tools and ingredients, florals, etc. as needed for relevant shoots and projects.

➔ ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Aid in planning and organizing content calendar 2-4 weeks out, keep team on schedule and using time efficiently

  • Attend 2-5 client meetings per month (virtual), when relevant to executive assistant duties

  • Inclusion on regular email correspondence with client manager and agency

  • Manage affiliate marketing digital storefronts (RewardStyle/LikeToKnowIt, Amazon Storefront)

  • Post branded content from company phone across social media

  • Assist in hiring of any necessary personnel across digital media needs and in-person (video editors, photographers, graphic designers, website designers)

  • Hiring and scheduling house cleanings ahead of photo shoots in the home

  • Grocery shopping and/or coordinating deliveries ahead of food/kitchen shoots

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years' related experience preferred

  • Takes initiative and is a self starter

  • Collaborative and team-oriented work style

  • Good sense of humor

  • Comfort with being part of an extremely close-knit (read: married) team

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Strong technology skills

  • Highly adaptable

Desired but not required

  • Interest in home decorating and design

  • Interest in DIY projects, food and drink, and home lifestyle content

  • Photography and/or videography skills

  • Photo or video editing experience

  • Graphic design experience

  • Copywriting experience

Location

  • Hybrid - in-person & remote

  • May require occasional travel to New Orleans and/or Chattanooga area. In the instance of additional travel outside of those locations for press or events, additional compensation in the form of day rate and stipend

Time Commitment

  • 30 hours a week (very variable and may include weekends when needed)

Salary and benefits

  • Salary of $60,000 - $80,000/year (commensurate with experience and expertise)
