The best part about hailing from a swamp (other than being able to open a sentence that way) is that any type of pseudo-large hill is reason enough for us to be like, "dang look at that big hill!" So you can only imagine our reaction to Yosemite. We'd try and explain it all here but if you just google "Drag Race Season Finale Live Viewing Gay Bar" you should get some kind of understanding. We were shaken and completely blown away. That is a big hill, y'all.

There are a million different trails you can do, but we opted for the simple and popular Mist Trail. It's easy to do in just a few hours and you won't need to have any fancy gear - just good shoes, some water, and a few protein bars for good measure. If, like us, you've only really got one day in the area - this trail is the way to go. If you've got the time to go all the way through it, you'll get to experience two incredible waterfalls and quite a few fantastic lookout spots. It's true what they say ... pictures really can't do views like this justice, so you'll just have to go experience it for yourself ;)

For this portion of our road trip we partnered with KEEN to try out their TARGHEE collection of hiking boots and shoes.
