BCB is an inclusive and welcoming place where we speak our minds and invite open conversations. We pride ourselves on our selection and believe that anyone who walks in the door will be able to find something they will want to take home. With a focus on modern literature, New Orleans writers and subjects, children’s books, science fiction, foreign language and more, we have carefully cultivated our selection.

ATLANTA | JUNE 29TH from 5:30 - 7:00| Charis Books & More | 184 S Candler St, Decatur, GA 30030

We’re headed to Charis Books & More just outside of Atlanta for a signing at the South’s oldest independent feminist book store! Charis is kindly asking that attendees wear a mask inside of the store.

About Charis: Welcome to Charis Books and More, the South's oldest independent feminist bookstore, celebrating radical and independent voices in the heart of the South since 1974! We are located in Decatur, GA, part of metro Atlanta, and we are proud to be the school store partner for Agnes Scott College. We specialize in diverse and unique children's books, feminist, and cultural studies books, books on anti-racism and ending white supremacy, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer fiction and non-fiction.

RALEIGH | JULY 19TH from 6:00 - 8:00 | Quail Ridge Books | 4209-100 Lassiter Mill Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609

We can’t think of a better way to spend our first visit in Raleigh, North Carolina than with a book signing at Quail Ridge Books!

About Quail Ridge: Quail Ridge Books is an independent bookstore with a friendly, knowledgeable staff dedicated to providing the best in customer service. Founded in 1984 by Nancy Olson, the store provides a wide variety of carefully selected books, events, discussion groups and town hall meetings. Owner Lisa Poole bought the store in 2013 and is dedicated to keeping it local!

RICHMOND | JULY 20TH from 5:00 - 7:00 | The Quirk Hotel & Gallery | 201 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220

On our last visit to Richmond we stayed at the gorgeous Quirk Hotel & Gallery and had a fantastic time. We’re beyond excited to return to the space with you for our Richmond signing!

About The Quirk Hotel & Gallery: Art-forward and designed to inspire, Quirk Hotel redefines and celebrates Richmond, Virginia, channeling its energy into a boutique hotel experience with exactly the right amount of whimsy.

NASHVILLE | JULY 30TH at 2:00 | The Bookshop | 1043 West Eastland Ave Nashville, Tennessee

Join us at the adorably quaint independent book store, The Bookshop, in East Nashville! It’ll be our first visit to Nashville and we hope you’ll join us!

NEW ORLEANS | AUGUST 28TH FROM 11:00 - 2:00 | Poppy’s Drag Brunch at Tujague’s | 429 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA 70130

Poppy is iconic and we were floored when she asked us to be the guests of honor at her drag brunch. She’ll be hosting several of them this summer, but you can find us at the one in August (if this date doesn’t work for you, you should still try and grab a ticket to one of her other events!!!). We hope to see you this Summer!
